Who Are We?
Our company began with inspiration born out of the indelible impression left upon us from the day we first set foot in Tanzania, and developed as an aspiration to make the beauty, splendor, and unique culture of the Kilimanjaro region accessible to all. Our first visit to Tanzania touched us deeply and that sentiment remained with us long after we left.
After much thought we realized we wanted to become part of the trekking industry in Kilimanjaro, to raise awareness of this special place, its people, and environment and bring others here to enjoy it.
Our company’s purpose is to give people the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of adventure while also creating a community around sustainable and responsible adventure tourism.

I’m still processing the 8 days I spent trekking up Mt. Kilimanjaro with Roam Wild Adventure. To say it was amazing is an understatement. We were 3 friends from the US on our first big trip and we could not have been happier. It was a challenging climb for sure, but we were in excellent hands. P.S. – I never realized how good it would be to have 3 hot meals a day prepared by a local Tanzanian chef…on the mountain! Excellent excellent!

This 5 day safari tour was an add-on to our Kilimanjaro trek. It was the capstone to an incredible bucket list vacation we had been planning for years and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Roam Wild Adventure as our tour company. We had the best team who organized every aspect of the trip perfectly. When we finished our climb we took a day to rest and then began our safari. Our safari guide picked us up at our hotel and right from the start we witnessed amazing animals! Our guide even spotted a zebra giving birth and we watched in wonder as this mama zebra brought new life into the world. The tented camp we stayed in was lovely. The service was fantastic and the food was great. It was nice to have a full breakfast before starting out on the road in the morning and even nicer to be greeted in the evenings with refreshments and a camp fire. I would definitely recommend this trip and hope to come back again to see the wildebeest migration next year!
